Surgical Errors
Surgical Errors
There are various medical conditions and injuries that require surgical intervention. Unfortunately, having surgery does not come without certain risks. Some risks are known complications of a surgery and cannot always be avoided. However, if a surgeon breaches what is called the “medical standard of care” in the manner in which he performs a surgery or in his follow-up treatment of a patient, he may be liable for surgical error medical malpractice.
